'Stars Of Today' Episode To Include McFadden Highlights
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Razorback fans are looking to tailback Darren McFadden to lead Arkansas to its first SEC title after losing in last year’s conference championship game to eventual national champion Florida.
As the runner-up in last year’s Heisman voting, Darren McFadden will be featured in the “Stars of Today” episode of “Aaron’s Football Saturday’s in the South,” presented by Lincoln Financial Sports, Saturday at 11 a.m. on KHBS/KHOG-TV, 40/29 News.
Darren McFadden is looking for continued success as he enters his third season with the Arkansas Razorbacks. In 2006, he became the first sophomore ever to win the Doak Walker Award for being the nation’s best running back after rushing for 1,647 yards and 14 touchdowns. Darren McFadden will enter the 2007 season as a frontrunner for the 2007 Heisman Trophy and the projected No. 1 pick in April’s NFL Draft. We spend a day with Darren McFadden in his hometown of Little Rock and talk with his family and friends about what has made him one of the best players in college football.
