The Raiders (3-7) have won each of the last two meeting with the rival Chiefs (1-10). Kansas City had previously dominated the series, winning nine straight from 2003-07. Believe it or not this game could turn into a shootout between Tyler Thigpen and JaMarcus Russell.
Five-star Players
Tony Gonzalez, TE, Chiefs. Thigpen and Gonzalez have developed a strong connection. Gonzalez has five or more receptions in each of the last six games. He has 10 catches for 113 yards twice in KC's last three games. Plus, Gonzalez is tied for the league lead in TDs for TE's with six. In short, Gonzalez remains the best TE in the business at age 32. Expect top-two production again vs. the Raiders.
Four-star Players
Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs. Bowe is a baby step away from being one of the league's elite receivers, and he has a nice measuring stick game this week. Oakland no doubt will shadow bow with fantasy grim reaper Nnamdi Asomugha, who has a nasty habit of shutting down top receivers. He'll bother Bowe, but don't give up on the second-year receiver. Bowe had six receptions for 90 yards in the teams' first meeting, and he's scored three TDs in Kansas City's last two games.
